THE PROFESSIONAL CENTRE AT SOUTH POINT

Located at the corner of 152nd St and 32nd Ave, this 4-storey 122,000 sqft facility serves as the new premier office and retail destination for South Surrey.

The design for this development is based on three elements defined by copper, white, and green. On the north-east façade, charcoal towers are recessed to accentuate the three feature elements. The cultured-stone at the base of the three towers provide a rich texture and natural warmth to the office entrances.

The Professional Centre is a model for sustainable design and LSA is currently seeking LEED Gold certification.  Design features include:

• Orientation and depth of the floor plate optimized to dramatically increase the window to floor area ratio for each unit, thereby providing significantly more daylight and views than a typical office building.

• Incorporation of bioswales into the landscape design to reduce stormwater runoff

​​

• A high reflectance roof to improve thermal efficiency and reduce the urban heat island effect.
